Digging Dirt for Max

Marek REALLY enjoys helping us with just about anything. Hopefully this will last for a little while longer. One of the jobs was to get new sand for Max our turtle. So we headed out to the conservation to scoop up some new housing material for our little guy. He's actually grown a whole lot over the past 2+ years. Marek loves feeding him lettuce and baby spinach every day. He reminds us that Max is “Marek’s turtle”. (The water on his pants is from helping me hose down the mower, you'll see what I mean in the following post.)
